Project Description
The K:L:O:N:K Updater Service is a deployment tool which can be used to deploy Microsoft Installer (msi ), zip or other file formats.
A directory is setup to be the deployment directory. Put files into this directory and the packages are distributed and installed at clients.
The K:L:O:N:K Updater service runs on windows. A directory is setup to be your deployment directory. File files can be put into this directory and the packages are distributed to the Updater Service client which has been configured
to get updates of the particular package or file. Depending on the type of package which is deployed the package is unzipped, installed or put in a destination directory. The K:L:O:N:K Updater Service is undependable of firewalls.
The updater service can be configured to run database update scripts for each update.
